When starting with motor cold, it runs at fast idle at 2,200 RPM. it can take 4/5 minutes for it to idle down to normal. It does this irregardless of outside temperature.
-leak in the EGR valve feed to the intake-?
-coolant temperature sensor-?
-air idle control sensor-?
-crack in the throttle-?
-throttle position sensor-?
-higher thermostat-?
Will openly admit I'm not a techy mechanic/and grasping at straws. would like a few opinions on this, would scoping discover the problem?
Thanks,
Wayne
