Hi folks. Does anyone have a short-cut technique for pulling codes out of 2007 Montana. Like hold a couple different buttons for a few seconds with the door open etc., etc. Or do I have to actually spend some $ on an OBD reader?

OBD II requires a reader. It's not like the older ODB I where you count the flashes of the SES light. You don't need to buy one, Just go to any Auto Zone or NAPA auto parts store and they will read out the codes and give you a print-out of what could possibly be bad causing the SES to come on.
