Hi,
I have just purchased a 1995 Firebird 3.4 liter which I imported from Germany and am trying to get registered with the traffic authorities here in Spain. Trouble is the traffic department in Spain will not accept the VIN from the plate which can be viewed thru the windscreen, as being a plate they consider it could eaily be changed.
What they want to see is the VIN number which is actually physically stamped somewhere on the metal of the chassis/car bodywork. I've looked in all immedaitely visible bodywork locations but cannot find this stamped in number anywhere. Can anyone help me?
P.S In case it makes a difference although the car was first registered in 1995it is likeley to be a 1994 manufactured car
