I just got the front end of my 76 back together and I am not to happy with how high the front end sits with the new springs. Does anyone know high how the front is supposed to sit and how much lower is the rear supposed to be than the front. I am thinking the guy who had the car before me put lowering leafs on it along with lowering coil springs.

Hey bad, In stock form didnt they sit 1 3/4 inch's lower in the rear? Im pretty sure about that.
It does sit about 1-3/4" lower. The only problem is that the front tires are way to small. When I purchased the the tires and rims the front of the car was lowered and I could only get a 235/50/17 to fit but I am going to put on 255/50/17's today.

That should be a nice look. On my 79 I had 295/50/15s, on the back and 185 /60/15s on the front, I love the "rake" look.
