Can't get proper alignment on the Front right wheel of my 1998 Trans Am Conv and I want to avoid just replacing parts until I get to the right one. Front tires are positioned as follows ( / \ ) .15degrees left .50degrees right) causing inside tire wear on rt wheel. all suspension parts are original and steering and handling are both good and tight with no play, There is no adjustment avail in the strut tower, although you would think there should be... Any thoughts?

I assume you are trying to do this at home as opposed to a shop?
Are you doing this adjustment of camber on alignment plates so that the tire/wheel and strut can slide?
Did you look up the specifications?
The spec appears to be 0.40* +/- 0.50*

No, I expect to use a local shop however I like to know what I am getting into. 0.50 doesn't seem like much but it put a significant wear problem on the inside of my old tire, maybe. I guess I envision a top strut mount that allows for some adjustment of the strut angle before it's fastened down...sort of an asymmetric pattern, adjustable to a point. Kind of how it should have been designed in the first place
Are you saying that the speck for a 98 Trans Am is .40* +/- 0.50* ? If that's so I'm just chasing shadows!!! I guess I can live with that and we'll see. I would think this should be a common problem among T/Am owners or even F Body owners between 97 and 02 years???

I rotate my tires at each oil change about every 3-4 thousand miles.
I have heard of adjustable camber plates but I have not yet found for the 98 T/A.
Judging by the alignment printout toein was -0.16degrees and adjusted to -0.00, not sure how much effect that had on uneven tire wear.
