Having a hard time selling this on craigslist, and can't take it anywhere to display it anymore since the rear brake line rusted through. Here's the craigslist post with all the details.
7/1/16 - Recently discovered a leaking/rusted brake line in the rear, resulting in very weak brakes. When the brake pedal is pressed, fluid squirts from the line. Highly suggested that you tow it.
Bought a new car and need to get rid of this one. 145xxx on the body, about 105xxx on the engine. This thing got me from Massachusetts to Texas with no problems at all.
Great first car for new drivers, great commute car, project car, strictly A to B car, or even for parts if you so wish. Cosmetically not the best, but it'll get you where you need to go reliably.
YES, the car DOES start and DOES run and drive.
Info:
Clean blue title in hand
Plastidipped matte black (old and crappy job, so it's fading and peeling)
A couple dings/rips in the plastidip
Dent in the rear driver's side from a small sideswipe by a non-attentive driver (I didn't care enough to bang it out properly)
Metallic green under the plastidip, if you wish to peel it off to the original color.
Light grey hood under the plastidip, great condition.
All service records all the way back to 2012 when I bought the car, are kept a folder, all down to the window tint receipt, except for the most recent oil change which was done by myself in about October 2015, so it's due.
This was my first car, and I thought I could do AWESOME mods. I can't. So like I said, it's not in the best cosmetic condition.
The stereo came out to go in my new car, sorry!
Good:
Great tread on all tires, about two years old.
Front windows tinted 35% (did the back windows myself so those are crappy - also 35%)
All lights work
Non smoker
Owned for about two years, 85% of that is highway mileage
Working a/c
Viper keyless entry, two keys and fobs - just recently found a magnetic key hider as well, so there's another spare key
Locking gas cap
New fuses
New relay for a/c condenser fan
New taillights, not oem style, forget the name
Replacement used engine, about 105xxx miles on it
Clean blue title
Relatively new front brakes
Bad:
- High beam indicator light is out - replacement instrument cluster from a junkyard, came like that
- Not so great front driver's side ABS sensor, so it triggers the trac lights every now and then, again, doesn't affect driving (not like it snows here anyway).
Other than that, very minor internal cosmetic issues (handle for seat recline broke off from previous owner, but you can still recline, both inside door handle fixtures are loose, some cigarette burn holes from previous owner).
