fuel level sender

I bought a new fuel pump that was advertised as having a sender unit.
My mechanic called and said there was no fuel level sender with it. The pump picture showed only two wires on the assembly.
I am hopiing someone here can publish a link where I can locate and purchase a unit that sends the fuel amount to the dash gauge.
Would it have a float on it? Thanks.

The pump doesnt come with a float. Where did you buy yours that led you to believe it does? Here is a link on repairing the float.

Junkyard only for the sending unit , no one makes them new, send it out for repair is the only other option.

It might work ,thats for a V6 ...........he has a 4 cylinder........... no 4 cylinder ones listed at your link.

The statement was "nobody makes them new". I just posted that The Fiero store does in fact sell new ones. Changing a connector is not a big deal for the 4-cyl. As for price, It's $90 less than GM use to sell them for. Never said there were not other options.
