I've had a starting problem for months now. finally came to the conclusion it has to be the fuel pump. is this a one man job? is it as simple asi've read?? just take the fuel tank off and its right in there, unscrew andreplace? anyone ever do this themselves? repair guyasking 300.00 for the pump and labor. is that a rip? should i jus try it myself?

well if you have a full tank youre dealing with 72 pounds of gas and the tank itself so it could be best to have assistance

fuel pumps

Jump at that price for the repair quote. I just had my fuel pump replaced, NIGHTMARE!!! The pump alone here in Washington, was quoted $250.00. That was at 5 different parts houses. But found it on line for $140.00. An did it our selves. NIGHTMARE!!! NIGHTMARE!!! I would jump on the quote you were given and have someone else do it if you can.
