Fuel Pumps - some info!

Hi all I am new here! Anyways I wanted to share with all that I was all over the web because the pumps in my 1997 Pontiac Trans Sport went out 3 times! After changinging it 3 times ir went to the dealership!!!! Problem was a corroded wire. It runs from the tank to the inside of the van all the way to the dash as we were told! So small advice check the voltage of wires before paying out the wazoo to replace the pump!!

If the wire/wires are corroded then the whole wire/wires should be replace..and the wires that start at the tank does go all the way to the front..To me it sounds about right and the wire/wires should be replaced..
