• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Just a quick hello to you all out there. I'm now the (hopefully!) proud owner of a 1977 Grand Prix SJ, which is currently about halfway across the Pacific to my home here in Auckland, New Zealand.

It was bought new from Tindall & Son Pontiac-GMC in San Antonio TX, then in 1994 went to Albany OR where it remained until May this year. One family owner (mother -> son).

I bought it in late July from a dealer in Lakewood WA, who was another Kiwi (!)

Here's a link to photobucket of it: http://s1281.photobucket.com/user/77pontiacSJ/library/?sort=2&src=pb_unauth&page=1

welcome to the forum. I hope you had the car inspected before you bought it.

Beautiful car in beautiful shape! With all 132 pictures and the video (all very impressive) I don't even want to know the price you had to pay plus shipping it home!

I do remember driving those cars back then, they were road cruisers for sure! Usually very smooth and quiet. A distinctive feel that can't be found in today's cars.

I hope you enjoy many years and miles in it! And welcome to the forums!
