Grand AM anti theft light went on now car is dead

2004 Grand AM

My anti theft light went of the other day, I stopped turned off the car. Every thing ran great. Then yesterday the car is dead. Can't jump it, deader than a door nail. I have juice in the battery. The alternator is good.

How do I get it running again? heck I never new there was a anti-theft light never mind a system in my car.

How do you know the battery is good, did you remove it and have it tested? How did you determine the alternator is good if you cannt start the car? Owners manual below

Tested both

I pulled the alternator off had it tested, and tested the battery as well.

Have you checked the battery connections at the battery and the starter and the ground? Have you checked the engine compartment fuse box for corrosion both under the cover and under the box? The other possibility is the ignition switch has failed.

Battery connection are clean, starter is secure, ground feels tight. I will check the ignition. If all else fails I will bring it onto a shop...

if the security light is flashing put the key in the ignition put it to the run position (just before start) and leave it there till the security light goes off, shut the key off and try and start the car.

sorry if I am to late on this, my wife's car had that issue and that's how we got it to start
