My 2007 Grand Prix 3.8 , water pump seized up, burnt off the belt. dash readout said something about ac system in protect mode, or something like that....I replaced water pump, thermostat, and the engine coolant temp sensor. Now I'm only getting luke warm heat.....Ive bled system at the thermostat housing bleeder screw. temp gage is at less than half. what am i missing?? any ideas ????

Did you have the heat set to on when you bled it? If not, you probably still have some air in the system.

heat was set to on. also what is the proper bleeding procedure.?? thanks

I open the bleeder screw when filling the system and fill until no air comes out of it. I then crack the car and with the heat on, let it run for a few minutes to make sure the thermostat is open and open the bleeder again, and top off until no air comes out.
