I have 3 bottles of paint, green, yellow and white as shown in the shop manual but I don't know where to paint the stripes on the drive shaft

From what I have seen about 12" from yoke.
Do you know the correct colors for your car?

yes, green, yellow and white as listed in the 68 shop manual for a 4 speed
