hatch and tailgate won't open

I have a 2001 aztek with many problems. I have replaced computer, something in shifter which required a new key be made, but now the hatch won't open even with a key. This car has cost me a fortune,which I do not have. My right rear brake and blinker lights are out but I can't change them unless I can get the tailgate down. Ireally need to fix this before I get a ticket. Any ideas would be great!

Your vehicle has no control on the dash to open it? You have no keyless remote to open it? If neither of these are options for you try an automotive locksmith, a body shop or a dealer.
