Headlight not working properly

My right headlight has issues focusing after striking a bird on the highway one night. It is now dimmed down and does not shine in the middle like my left headlight.

A friend of mine mentions that the lighting points up more than normal. Note this is on a 2004 and it has some sort of light focusing component inside unlike earlier models.

Just wanted some quick advice. Is this possible to easily fix or just go and look in the scrapyard for a replacement headlight unit?

On top and on back there are 2 adjusting stems . One for left to right and one for up and down. Simple to fix. Must of been a big bird?
 
also sounds like a ground or bulb problem

The first thing I did was replace the bulb. Does not appear to have a shorting issue. The headlight justs does not shine through the middle. I'll have to check these stem adjusters.

The headlight does look a lot more scratched up than normal. Did light sanding with 2k + 3k grit and barely improved.

The bird was pretty big, heard a thunking sound upon impact. Was slowing down and hope to avoid + could not identify the roadkill it was going after so my right turn signal apparently took the brunt of the impact from the cracks I noticed afterwards.
 
A while back I bought 2 new headlight assemblies from rock auto they were really reasonable . Not as good as oem but acceptable. Looks like ~$28 a piece .

Rock auto? I live in Canada.

I can salvage the turn signal from my old 2001. The 2001 headlight does not have distributor inside.

rockauto.com not sure about shipping to Canada
