I have a 2004 Grand Am and the headlights need to be replaced, buffing no longer works.

I ordered a set from Amazon for $63, Eagle Eyes, thinking I was getting a good deal. I got them installed after matching the adjustments from the old ones and there are dark spots all across the light path in low and high beam. I tried tweaking the adjustments but nothing worked.

They came with bulbs so I swapped them out for the old ones, didn't help much.

So my question is, which replacement brand is good?

I found TYC 20554000 (L) and TYC 20553900 (R) on Rockauto. Does anyone have any experience with these?

Any other ones?

I appreciate any help with this.

I installed those TYCs from rockauto on my 2000. They worked well and have with bulbs. The bulbs are no name, no brand... literally no markings on them; but they did work great. I just replaced one of the bulbs a week ago and it was initially installed ~ May 2013. Just buy a set of bulbs and keep them in the glove box for when they burn out.
