My headlight assemblies have the metal reflectors for a better word in them.
But the light pattern seems to look like bright then a spot of dim, then bright again. Does anyone else have this problem?

Also are the metal reflectors seen in the pic necessary?

Thanks

Tim

I removed mine and the light is much more uniform. No darks spots and low beam still cuts off at the proper location, however I don't know if this is legal.

I don't have any pics of light output at night yet but I snapped a few this morning to show the metal cover removed. They are somewhat removable but you do have to bend them a bit so they fit out the bulb hole. Once you take out the bulb you can see how they are held in and it's just a matter of working them free. Don't mind my dirty old headlights.
