Hi fellow Montana owners. I have a question about the headlights in my wifes van. The lens are yellow, nasty and have moisture in them. I found some new replacement assemblies for around $100, but was wondering what everyone is using HID, LED or just plain old stock replacement bulbs? Thanks

As very common problem, look at rock auto for cheap prices the tyc are OK and give you a few years before they haze over. What I did was get a set from rock auto with silver stars and that was great for a few years but now there are a lot of led choices but u still need clear lens. Check out my post in the classifieds for my lens. Good luck.

I wouldn't go HID at all in reflector housings. If you want proper HID, I would buy some new housings and retrofit a proper HID projector into the new housing.

Theres a forum called hidplanet that will help you with everything you need.

I also wouldn't do LED either, LEDs still haven't been able to be fully able to use a reflector housing without killing the beam, or totally blinding people no matter how you aim them.

I replaced my misty and weathered up ones from Amazon

Think they were about $68 shipped to me. They had new bulbs in them and were close to OEM with one part hooked up backwards. Fixed that and installed them in about an hour. Nice being able to see again after the sun goes down.
