My son has a partially restored 1978 Transam. I know he is missing some parts of the heater ducting but am not certain which ones. Does anyone have a picture layout (perhaps from a manual) that shows the complete system?

We have a CD with a manual on it but he is out of town and I don't know where he may have it.

Can you buy new ductwork or do we have to pick it up bit by bit? We had it apart last winter to replace the core and I noticed that it is pretty fragile.

Thanks for your advice. It doesn't show me the complete picture but if I look under the dash myself, I can figure out what componants I'll need to buy. The catalog is a great resource.

I'd be interested in any comments about the molded dash overlays. If we have the money, I think I'd prefer to replace the complete dash but I wondered how good/bad the overlays look.

no first hand experience but the people at Ames are pretty straightforward when it comes to what the quality of the parts are and can tell you whether it will look original or not
