Hi! I just had the heater core replaced in my 1997 Pontiac Grand Am and now having heating issues. It takes the car running - 30 minutes just to get luke warm heat when before it could heat-up with hot air in 5 to 10 minutes. I also have cold air from outside blowing in from the parking brake lever only when the blower is turned on. Could someone PLEASE help??

did they put a thermostat in when they put the heater core in if they didn't ti could be stuck open and it will take take a long time to get to warm up

recheck coolant level and also make sure heater control valve is in open position.

ya know what id do is take it right back to whoever worked on it and tell them to fix it right, they should stand behind there work
