hi, joined awhile ago and thought it time to do an intro.
I'm am a retired dairy farmer and have been building hotrods an owning American cars since the age of 16. I bought a 1969 LeMans convertible out of japan in 2005 and owned it for 10 yrs then selling it. It was a seriously cool car that I rebuilt and changed a lot on. Disc's all around, dropped spindles, headers ,rebuilt original 350 mtr and 2 spd gearbox.
Have just bought a 71 LeMans coupe which came into NZ from America in march this year and I am the 2nd NZ owner.
Will figure out how to post photos and put some up soon.
Thanks Mark.

welcome and good luck with your new car

Welcome again lol. Got any more photos of your old work?

And I'm also wondering if you have any company recommendations for importing USA to AU? I'm looking at some but I'm unsure.

Checking back in, went ahead and dove into shipping from the US. I got a 1976 Pontiac shipped here with no problems, just a bit of a wait. I ended up going with https://www.wcshipping.com/australia and I can say it went quite well using this company. I probably had more problems with the seller himself than the import process :p

Glad to hear it worked out for you.
