I just now got the idea to look for any forums for Pontiac Catalinas
Five years ago I found a really nice ‘68 Cat - Solar Red with all red interior and white top. A 400 Cu inch motor all in very nice conditio.
I have a short list of needed improvements:
1. The dual exhaust sounds terrible, perhaps the guts in the mufflers are trashed, I don’t see any leaks but it’s lour and not any performance sound.
2. the Red carpets look like my cat pulled on the loops for a decade.
3. My rear bumper has the fine rust dots all over and is out at both ends. I bought a replacement bumper through the Internet, it has very nice chrome, but looks like a half dozen Dents or hits with a Hard mallet. *Note to self, never buy a dirty bumper by photos and not through a North Vagas salvage yard!
My car looks identical to the Bonneville above with out the hood tac.
