Hey, new to the board here. My GF wants a 74 LeMans and we found a 74 LeMans Sport GT. It's pretty complete and in really good shape. Any issues I should know about other than the obvious time-related problems? Like issues with seals, lines, brakes, transmission. Any help appreciated!

Just be aware that there is not much of an aftermarket providing parts for that year or any car after 1972. The reason being they are not as collectible. The parts you mention should be available but when you get into things like body or interior parts you will have a hard time finding them.

Yeah I noticed it's not as good as more mainstream muscle cars. No worry, just need to use more fabrication skills. I have found plenty of aftermarket parts, both replacement and performance upgrades. I know we will have a unique resto-mod when it's complete.
