While driving my 86 se v6 4speed. I cruse along at 2500 rpm and my guage starts bounce off the limiters and going crazy. It also occus at random times while driving, sitting, shifting. I check the oil and it may be a half a qt low. I run 5w30 in it. Could it just be too thin of oil? Or the sending unit? Or the guage itself? Please help.
