Help with antifreeze problem

Hi....I have an 2001 Grand Am GT It runs great but I seem to have an antifreeze leak, we noticed that the antifreeze has black chunks in it and there is a smell and small leak any of you have a similar situation?

sounds like a head gasket... where is the leak coming from?

same problem with my 01 grand am . in my case the coolant cap was bad and not holding pressure causing antifreeze to go out the coolant overflow replace your cap and see what happens hope this helps

Had the same problem, headgasket blew out and anti freeze was going in to the oil. Check your oil soon for color or does it look like thick coffee if using dexcoll for coolant.
