I believe you are referring to a cooling system bleed screw.

Bleeding valve. Could be. Thank you for your in put. The car is overheating with a new thermostat, new water pump and new radiator. I will try to open that valve and try to bleed the air out. Thank you again

Do the engine fans run when the car is overheating?

Yes, it does, no thermostat and runs cold no matter distances or time. Thermostat back in and overheats again. Changed thermostat 3 times (brand new).

Two things, you are definitely installing the thermostat the correct direction? If you have a drill, drill a small 1/16" hole in the flat edge of thermostat to allow any trapped air to pass.

three months with a small hole in the thermostat and the car is running at 100 to 120 degrees, the check engine light came on and the hot air conditioner stopped working. I find out that the T screw is a plastic valve with a internal spring to regulate the water passing from the motor to the heater core. At list its not overheating anymore ...

Interesting but the engine is running way too cool, should be at least running at the thermostat temperature.
