I have a 1989 Sunbird GT with closable Head Light covers that work ok, however, on the highway (wind) they work open. Is there a clutch in the system? I can't see any adjustments, advise appreciated
I Checked For You, All They Have In There Is An Actuator And Two Pivot Brackets. Your Problem Is Most Likely There. If I Had To Guess, Wind Pushing The Doors Open Is Related To The Pivot Brackets. Hope This Helps
I have the same car with that problem. I took it apart and found the plastic round gear that is press fitted to a round aluminum piece. I JB weld the two back together. Works good.
