I would like to find out if Pontiac factory installed any Dual Gate Shifters in the LeMans series. I have a 1971 LeMans Sport that has one. I will post a photo of her.
Thanks for the help!...

I have a 1971 GTO, that is not a 1971 shifter. it was used earlier, I had that in a 1968 GTO and I believe was also used in 1967. It also has a broken rear clip that someone solved by putting that screw through the shifter plate.

Factor his/hers shifters were only installed in 1967 and 1968, after that most floor shifted cars had a factory slap stick shifter that would act the same as a his/hers when placed in 1st and when "slapped" to the right it would advance to 2nd, repeat for 3rd.

So the shifter in your car is not stock, but not a bad upgrade, and worth more than the stock shifter your car came with. So could be traded for a stock one, or sold for enough or more than the stock shifter.
