horn works intermittently

2005 bonnevile, horn only works occasionally. what could be the cause, and how can it be fixed.

it only stops working when the steering wheel is in a certain position or it can be in any position?

Any position. if it goes out in one position it will be out at any position, until the next random time which comes along and it surprisingly works

an issue that is not always there is hard to diagnose. It could be a sticking horn relay or it could be a bad horn contact or it could be a wire harness issue.
