I have a 02 Pontiac Grand Am with a V6 motor. 80% of the time it starts up fine. Other times it takes 3 seconds to start. The car would be off for at least 5 minutes or less.
1 tune up? its 9 yrs old
2 dirty fuel injectors...sometimes they dont shut off 100% drip into cylinder and flood/wet plugs...try putting gas pedal to floor [not pump it] when starting...
starter motor is slowly going out it takes time for tghis to happen. either that or the teeth on your flywheel are getting soft. If you hear a grinding it's the flywheel. If it's just not wanting to turn over then it's the starter.
