How do I get into the trunk on my 1996 Pontiac Grand Am SE?

The key won't work on the trunk and the switch on the inside won't open it, because a pressed something in the trunk that makes it not work...

A locksmith can get the trunk open. If the key won't turn, but it's the right key, picking the lock will be nearly impossible. Drilling out the lock cylinder will allow it to be opened. If you take out the back seat, you might be able to reach the "pressed something" and unpress it with a long stick.
