My passenger window stopped working while I was closing it (half way up of course). I believe it is the master switch that needs to be replaced because I am having continuity to ground issues on one of the wires going to the motor. The motor itself is ok because the window will roll down. How can I jumper the motor to get the window up until I get a new switch

It may as simple as reversing the polarity , tear apart the drivers window and measure the voltage up and down and there would be your answer or meter out(using the continuity setting) your drivers switch and find out what pins they are using and then jump out the bad switch . On the drivers door there is a switch for the passengers window does that work ? if both switches don't work I would then guess motor/regulator ??? Good luck keep us posted.

The Driver side switch does not work in either direction but the passenger switch works going down only.

hi

I had this happen to me last week i think it was, sometimes it would work and then not. Then it stopped working altogether, i had to take the dvrs door switch apart and clean the contacts in it, for both windows. Put it back together and reconnected it, works great now.
