how do i reset check engine light on 2000 Pontiac Montana?

I need info on how to rest the check engine light on the above mention vehicle. (10) Points easy!

There are only two ways to reset the light. Either fix the issue that caused the light to come on in the first place or get an OBD-II compliant scan tool that is capable of erasing the codes.

u can either fix the issue or u could use a scan tool to get rid of the code but if u do that after a while the check engine light will come back on because u havent fixed the problem causing the light to come on to begin with

If your repair the problem, any Auto Zone or NAPA parts stores can erase the codes.
If you don't know what the problem is they can scan the codes and give you a print-out of things to check.
