how do I tell if I have a trailer package

I just got a 02 Monta. Thanksna ext. Bought it off an older guy that kept it in good shape, but I was wondering if it has a towing package because, in the rear storage compartment there was a factory trailor wiring harness. There is no trailer hitch though?? Also i looked under the van and the rear shocks are short and stubby fat ones, does that mean I have load leveling suspension? How could I check? The previous owner said its fully loaded and seems to be other than no dvd system for the back. Also what is the towing capacity as I cant get a proper number Thanks

up under the left rear in the back thats where the compressor would be. as far as the trailer package , I would consult your local GM dealer and have them run the VIN and rpo codes.

yup theres a compressor there and have the vehicle load leveling suspension

I thought I remember reading somewhere in the manual that there was a way to tell. Maybe I'm wrong
