i turn the dial to max, a/c, and high then i turn the temperature dial to the red side..but yet still doesn't get hot am i doing something wrong? my car didn't come with a manual so i cant look it up help!

Max AC is wrong. You are trying to cool the hot air.
Turn the knob to the right (opposite of the AC and Max AC) and turn the other knob to the red.
Turn the knob to the right (opposite of the AC and Max AC) and turn the other knob to the red.
