how do i unlock my 2001 pontiac aztek

car stereo?
I forgot to make this clear I need to know how to unlock the theft lock so the stereo will work the display screen reads "locked" i just bought it at a used car dealership it is the original stereo if anyone can help thanks in advance.

are there two holes on either side of the radio? If this is the case take a metal clothes hanger and stick in the holes and pull the radio out. You might be able to go to a car stereo store. and purchase the little tool also. If this isn't the case a trip to the store should prove helpful, if you are changing the radio yourself, they may go ahead and take it out for you for nothing
