How do you replace oil pan gasket on 1996 V6 3.8L Pontiac Firebird?

front wheel drive or rear wheel?

all firebirds are rear wheel drive. Depending on the clearance between the front frame and the oil pan you may have to raise the engine. Your best bet is to pick up a chiltons or other manual describing with pictures how the job is done.
