The relay for the turn signal keeps clicking when you tuoch the steering wheel or if you barely touch the turn signal switch, what is the easiest way to fix it?

If you remove the steering column covers, then you can remove the turn signal stalk. It comes as one unit with the wiper stalk. I think it's called the multi function module or something like that. My wife's 04 had the problem where the turn signal clicker would go crazy. What I did to fix it, was pull the module out, remove some of the case screws, and use a toothpick/q-tip to remove excess grease from the contacts for the turn signal. The grease had worked its way between the contacts and was shorting them. I've read it's a common issue that can be fixed for the cost of the toothpick.

I'd post a link to the write up, but I don't know if we're allowed to link to other forums.
