...to a '78? I was curious if it could be done at all or if there was a kit for it or something? Also, will older ground effects from a 78 fit alright on an 80? I'm not too crazy about the fiberglass ones...

Its pretty much a bolt on operation as long as you have a donor car to source all of the parts from the basic bodys were the same from 77-81 and most parts will interchange to one or the other with minor drilling and filling of unused holes ...the newer T/As used urethane flares the pre 79 used glass flares the glass ones break easier but hold there shape over the years better ..
