I have liked the body style of the sunfire since they came out
in 95. After owning three, the one thing that sticks out like a sore thumb
in the huge open area between the tire and fender wells.
I just bought a nice 2004 and have been looking at spring/shock kits
to lower it. Question is how much?
I found a spring/shock set that drops it 1.5 inches.

I checked the rear with a full tank of fuel and it looks like I can go
2 inches easily.
I was wondering who here might have gone through this.
I prefer to replace struts/shocks along with the springs since it is all
coming out anyway. From what I have read, will probably have excessive camber issues to deal with.
This is not a race car, just a daily driver/commuter.
Do you think 1.5 inches is enough? Is there enough adjustment in the
stock suspension to correct the camber issues without using
additional parts going 1.5 inches?
Please give some input if you have experience in this,
Thanks,
