Hello all! So, basically, I'm wondering this because the van I received doesn't have a working gas gauge. It's still a few more days to payday and I currently have 400kms (about 250 miles) on my tank. I have a few dollars to put into it, but not much. Just wondering how much you folks get on an average tank. Don't worry, I'll give it a safe buffer:). Thanks in advance!

EDIT - I should probably also say it is an 04. I know what the estimated mpg is, but I'm not 100% on the tank size, and real life mpg usually differs, so I'm just looking for estimates

Thank you! I have a question though - it says fuel capacity is 74L/or 95L extended. Is extended a larger tank that may have been purchased as an option? A quick google search didn't give me an answer - I feel like such a newbie haha.

Also, if anyone has one of these, still let me know what you get on average per tank. I've only filled it 3 times since getting it and it was only around $20 each time, so I'm still unsure what type of real-world mileage these will do.

Thank you! Looks like I should have at least 200kms left on this tank if I go by the minimum mileage on the sticker(I do mostly highway). I appreciate the manual. Still wondering about real life mileage though, so any help is appreciated. I've only had this rig for about a week now, so I'm still uncertain

Sorry - this is the third time I've tried replying. Anyway, thank you for that info. If I go by the minimum mpg, I should have 200kms or so left. I'm still wondering, though, if I could get some feedback from Montana owners on what they are getting? Just a rough guess is fine

I can get 900 km from full to empty but I do have the extended large tank. That is driving around Calgary, a mix of slower roads and Deerfoot (110km).

On average, I get about 300 miles until I have to fill it up, again. That's mostly city driving. If I do exclusively highway mileage at or near 60-65 (which is the sweet spot for mileage on my 2001 van), I can get about 450 miles (close to 26 MPG). I could go further, but the low fuel warnings always get me to stop early :)

Oh, I have the 20 gallon tank :)

Hey thank you! I appreciate that. I was at 450kms, which I think is about 270 miles. Most of that is highway-ish driving. Some straight highway, some 80-90 kmh. Anyway, I put 20 liters in and have driven another 150 kms. I only have about 5-10 kms to do tomorrow and I get paid overnight Tuesday so I think I'm going to make it 😀😀😀😜. Anyway, thanks again to @jbeazell and @brianwetzel. This will help me in the future.

My pop has a 2002 (the full size, not the shorty), and his gas gauge doens't work either.. He goes by the trip odometer, and he gets about 700km from a full tank. He mostly drives it around town (Courtenay / Comox area, on Northern Vancouver Island, BC)
