How much does it cost to get a pontiac sunfire hood replaced?

My sisters drunk ex-boyfriend came to my house last night and stomped all over my car and put 2 or 3 dents in the hood. they are about 2 inches around. I am going to get the hood replaced. I am not concerned about price because her ex-boyfriend has to pay for. How much do you think he would have to pay out for the hood? Anything over a grand is a felony, so hopefully it's over a grand. But...How much do you think it will cost?
