I have had some problems in the past few months with my car overheating, I had taken it to several mechanics and they replaced the water hose, radiator, and thermostat and it drove fine for a month or two and started acting up again. So I took it in to find out the head gaskets were blown and there was possible cylinder head damage, the valve cover gasket was leaking oil and the plugs were soaked with oil. The mechanic told me it would be at least a $1,500 job to fix hoping they wouldn't run into any more issues once they started. Since I had already been considering buying a new car, it doesn't make sense to me to waste all that money on fixing it. It's a 2000 Sunfire it has 126,000 miles on it, before this happened it ran perfect, I loved the traction it had in the winter, the heat would turn on and heat up the car in a minute! I loved this car. How much is a reasonable price to try and sell? I know there are people out there willing to put the work into this car, and I am just not up for the hassle and headache.

I appreciate any feedback!

Probally sell it for $300depending if it was a loaded. You could also part it out and get a bit more.
