how to install a headliner in a 68'...

...firebird? what are the steps to applying a headliner in a 68' firebird. Need some guidlines, i got the general idea, but experience tips will help a lot. I dont want to learn from my own mistakes on this one=)
NEED SOME HELP PLEASE!!!!
Does the glue go on the entire heard liner or just the rails, because under neath the old one is a lot of nasty orange like foam!!! should i remove this stuff or just leave it be and lay down the glue and new liner???

Wow, big job... I've seen it done in a backyard garage a couple of times, with mixed results. All I can say is be patient and work the wrinkles out in the material before you start (a portable steamer works well for this). Professionals make it look so easy, but this is not an easy job.

If I were you, I would let a trained professional handle this task. It's not easy and it can be a way of throwing your money down the drain if it does not come out right. Good luck with that beauty!
