I am about to give up need help

Does anybody know how to put a rear brake line on a 1991 sunbird 3.1 its the rubber hose ive never replaced one before

Other than using the proper 5 sided wrench to remove it, you will have to bleed the brake system.

Well the line broke so I guess im doing break lines too it is what it is ive just never done break lines before

Cat back? or the whole exhaust?

Next time spray the lines/ fittings with spray bolt buster first, If they dont come off , a little heat will do but the rubber line will burst if too much heat is added.

Im replacing the whole exhaust I already ordered everything now I need a new wheel cylinder cause the bleeder valve broke I did use heat and this industrial wd 40 stuff which usually works but it didnt work this time

Throw that crap away, make your own out of ATF and Acetone ( google it and check out ) Works better than anything you can buy.....................;)

Thanks ill definitely do that for next time cause theres always a next time with this car but its worth it all the money that went into this car was supposed to be used for my 1974 plymouth duster she'll just have to wait a little longer

im still having a problem with my oil pressure gauge when i start up the car the gauge is fine but when i turn or when i come to a stop the gauge will go all the way down and my check gauges light comes on anybody know whats going on i figured it wasent the gauge cause it works when ever im driving straight ahead

Also whenever it rains a bunch of water goes in the car its only on the passenger side not driver side it does not come from the convertible top

Check the cowl area , ( where the blower fan air intake is) might be full of leaves or might be rusted through ( mine was on both sides)

There are 2 rubber " valves " on the bottom of each side of the cowl area that open with the pressure of water . Leaves and dirt build up around them and the water cant drain out. The drivers side is easy to see, the passenger side is hidden by the blower housing.

I'll see if I have a pic to show you.......Pic added......... yellow arrow

How many miles on the motor?

Read on the Z24V6 forums that some had guage problems ( needle flutters at idle) but one said he had 255K miles on his motor and he was going to keep driving it .

Maybe change the oil to a thicker blend or change the oil pressure sensor?

Thanks for reminding me...................................

Took me 1/2 hour to flush mine out Saturday , too many trees around here.:D

You can lift up the plastic cover over the blower fan air inlet a little to get in there, one side is held in by the hood/cowl rubberseal.

You can find the other drain under the blower housing feeling with your fingers for the rubber "plug flap" , that one clogs the worse of the two. ( narrow passageway)
