Coolant temperature sensor or Mapp sensor could be bad.....If it happens when cold then temp sensor, mapp all the time....
Can't believe the O2 is bad already..

Well, update- Doug, maybe the O2 sensor is actually not at fault, even though I keep getting code 45. The manual says rich mixture, or O2 sensor. I am skeptical that an O2 sensor can go bad that fast. Before I throw it out and buy another one I have to keep looking. I can test a MAP sensor with a multi meter I think, and follow the manual for correct readings. Also, No code for a bad Map sensor yet.
I installed one of those O2 sensor extensions Mel mentioned, it was very low cost/low risk, and good idea to me. So at least we are protecting the O2 sensor a bit, I figure. I have no regret for that. The code 45 includes rich mixture.
Reminder- the car runs well for the 1st say, 30 seconds (while cold) then the stumbling starts. Then after a while, seems to run Ok as explained earlier. But now, I am even afraid to take it onto the road, only testing on my driveway.
What do you think about the fuel pressure regulator? Nothing in the Haynes manual to diagnose one. Strange.
Right now, the car is not driveable.
