...sometimes they don't (mostly in drive). Just recently replaced a bulb in the center trunk break light, don't know if they caused the problem. Rear lights come on and stay on ok, blinkers and center break light all work. Any suggestions?

I don't quite understand what you are asking ..Are the brakes themselves not working or are you talking about the lights ..one does not effect the other, if your brakes are NOT working the lights have nothing to do with it, get it to a service shop and have them checked ..

turn signals and high mount break lights have no issues.

I would suspect the brake light switch or adjustment of the switch ..
(under the dash by the brake pedal)
