My car has a break fluid leak, and I don't have to much money, and I need to get it fixed. The last leak the car had cost $500 and it was an antifreeze leak.
I'm not going to have that kind of money, and I'm just wondering if anyone knows about on average a break fluid leak on that car would cost, or if there is a website that gives averages or something like that.
Thank in advance for the info. :)

You have to give more info so we can answer. Where is the leak? Is it a hose? Is it a cylinder leak?

It depends on where the leak is as to what it will cost to fix it.

Is it at a wheel, a fitting in the brake lines, or at the master cylinder? Look at where the drips are under the car or in the engine compartment to start.

A new master cylinder is the most expensive, unless you can find someone who will put in new seals cheaply. A wheel cylinder isn't very expensive, although if the fluid has been dripping on a shoe or pad, the shoe or pad should be replaced for safety. It could be as simple as a rubber brake line rubbing and creating a split, or a fitting becoming loose.

I would NOT take it to the shop that charged $500 to fix a coolant leak. (assuming they didn't have to replace the radiator, and or heater core.)
