I bought my car in 06 and earlier this year I was told that I needed struts. When I got a second opinion, I was told that my car was too new to need that replaced. what could be the cause for this?
It sounds as if you have warped brake rotors. If the vehicle shake is in the steering wheel it is more than likey the front rotors. If the shake is felt in your seat, it is most likely the rears. The cause of this is overheating of the brakes. IE. poor braking habits, stop and go traffic etc. The fix is simple. Machine work or replacement of said rotor and pads will cure it
