the speedometer jumps around.? Anyone know what's causing this? I checked everything over repeatedly and can't figure out why it's doing this...

The Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) or cable connection is bad as one possibility since the VSS drives the speedometer. It may affect your transmission shifting as well.

bobweb is right but Fiero's were electrical nightmares. Just about everything that could go wrong with them did. They are already collectible to some people. A big reason because they liked to catch fire! The later GT's were pretty, but there are a lot of pretty cars out there I would not have.
